Ensure traction under hard cornering.
When corning hard, the vehicle weight shift occurs and tilts the car. This situation can cause the loss of traction when the inner wheel lifts up. Since normal differential transfers power to the wheel with least resistance, the traction is lost as the inside wheel spins.
Extrication from muddy surface or complete loss of tracion on one driving wheel.
In this case one driving wheel gets stuck in mud or looses traction completely, the normal differential equipped vehicle will be unable to keep driving. As mentioned above, since the power will be supplied to the wheel with least resistance, the car does not move. With the Kaaz LSD the power of the spinning wheel will immediatly transfer to the opposite wheel and the car will move.
Under various driving conditions, the load resistance to each driving wheel changes constantly. A normal differential will provide power to the wheel with least amount of resistance. Because of this, vehicle control is reduced while accelerating or braking during a turn. An LSD will sense the difference between both driving wheel's rotation and smoothy transfer the power to the ground by limiting differential action. This will positively improve the control of the vehicle while accelerating through the turns. This is the reason why the "LSD" is a necessary item for any sports driving.
