In 1940 Clyde Wiseman ventured into his garage on the East Side of Cleveland, Ohio and began producing pistons for himself and a few friends. Word of his high quality work spread quickly, and in 1941 Wiseco Piston was established to service the needs of racers and PowerSports enthusiasts.
Today, Wiseco’s corporate headquarters in Mentor, Ohio, boasts of over 150,000 square feet of state-of-the-art forging and CNC machining equipment. Wiseco is the world leader in the manufacturing of hi-performance, forged pistons for the snowmobile, motorcycle, ATV, personal watercraft, outboard marine and automotive markets.
