Dodson GR6 Heavy-Duty Output Shaft Update

Dodson’s GR6 Heavy Duty Output Shaft is available to replace the OE output shaft that has a well known weak point at the circlips at both ends. When the circlip shears off and takes the splines with it, the shaft then must be replaced.

The Dodson EDOS has been the preferred solution for many years, and Dodson have recently made a further improvement. While adding grub screws to the nuts at either end, replacing the previous staking operation, the nuts would remain positively locked up in place, holding the gears securely in position, and will be reusable for future rebuilds. The offset pattern of grub screws to receiver slots ensures you can always get a screw to line up.
