Next-Level Induction: Pipercross AirMax Launches for C8 RS6/RS7
Pipercross is excited to release the latest AirMax intake kit, for the C8 Audi RS6/RS7 – PK457. Utilising the industry-leading PLUS panel filters, paired with a stunning, bespoke, carbon fibre airbox lid. This results in:
- +14.39WHP & +16-42Nm Trq gains (Stock-Stg1)
- 90.70% max, 81.35% avg airflow restriction decrease vs. OE
Plus Panel Filters:
Serving as the performance core of the C8 RS6/RS7 intake kit, Pipercross’ Plus Panel Filter increases effective airflow by 22.1% over typical steel mesh backing frames. During testing against the OE pleated panel filter, our Plus filter significantly outperformed the OE panel, reducing airflow restriction by an average of 38.66% (and a maximum of 47.47% at 200 CFM). Both OE and Pipercross filters were tested in an OE airbox, ensuring a fair test.
Carbon Fibre AirMax Lid:
Thanks to Pipercross advanced in-house 3D-scanning and CAD technologies, the PK457 C8 RS6/RS7 Carbon Fibre Airmax lid has been designed to achieve an increase in post-filter internal volume, making the most of the engine bay space available below the bonnet, without compromising OE fitment/clearance standards. This same technology was employed to increase the outlet sizes of the lid, yielding a 61.39% increase in outlet sizes of the lid, yielding a 61.39% increase in outlet internal cross-section vs. OE.
All functional performance improvements are combined into a single carbon-fibre unit that adds a beautiful form-and-function aesthetic to any Audi C8 RS6/RS7 engine bay.
